flying in Iceland next month, anything i should know?

so im heading to Iceland for about 10 days and obviously bringing the mini 3 pro. ive done some reading about their rules and it seems pretty reasonable compared to some other places ive flown but honestly theres so much conflicting info online i cant tell whats current anymore.

mostly planning to fly around the highlands and maybe near some of the waterfalls if i can get far enough from crowds. anyone been there recently and actually dealt with the airspace stuff? i know some of the national park areas have restrictions but the maps i keep finding are from like 2021.

Þingvellir national park is a no-fly for sure, dont even bother trying to argue with yourself about it.

the wind is the bigger problem honestly. i lost like 4 or 5 potential shots just because it was way too gusty to get stable footage. check wind forecasts obsessively, mornings tend to be calmer. and yeah waterfalls are usually fine as long as your not right in the tourist scrum. go early.
