so ive been flying the original Avata for about a year now and genuinely love it, got pretty comfortable in manual mode and the goggles 2 setup has been solid for me. but im starting to see the Avata 2 pop up more and im wondering if anyone who actually made the jump can weigh in on whether its a meaningful upgrade or just kinda incremental stuff.
the obstacle avoidance on the original is basically useless in any real environment so i turned it off ages ago. curious if they actually fixed that or its still more of a marketing checkbox. also the battery life on the og avata is honestly fine for how i fly but my main gripe has always been the image quality in lower light, colors feel a bit washed out when its overcast. does the Avata 2 sensor actually do better there or is it still the same limitations just with slightly better processing
not looking to sell a kidney over this if the difference is marginal, already sunk enough into ND sets and prop guards and all that
