weight difference is real and it compounds over a full day of flying, thats not nothing. we did a rough calc once where an extra 400g on payload cost us almost 4 minutes per flight on average and when

So ive been going back and forth on this for like two weeks now and I cant make up my mind. Currently running the X7 on my M300 for most of our mapping and inspection work and its fine, great even, but a buddy of mine keeps telling me to look at the Sony payload options because apparently the color science is just better for the kind of deliverables our clients are asking for lately.
The thing is the weight hits you pretty hard on flight time and when youre doing long corridor inspections that matters a lot. Plus the gimbal compensation with the X7 is so dialed in at this point I feel like switching is gonna mean a bunch of recalibration headaches and probably some weird artifacts on the first few flights while I figure out the sweet spot.
Has anyone actually run both setups back to back on similar missions? Not looking for spec sheet comparisons, I can read those myself. More curious about real world handling and whether the image quality difference shows up in final processed outputs or just looks different in raw preview.
