so theres a fly-in happening about an hour from me next month and ive never been to one of these things before. not sure what to expect honestly. do people just show up and fly or is there like a schedule and stuff? also wondering if its weird to go alone, most of my friends think drones are boring lol

dude go, seriously. my first fly-in i was nervous for nothing. most people are just chilling, talking gear, flying when they feel like it. yeah theres usually some guys with crazy custom builds but nobody cares what you show up with. brought my old mavic air 2 to one last summer and spent half the day just watching fpv guys do runs, was awesome. the mini 3 is fine you'll be good

depends on the event tbh. some are pretty organized with raffles and demo flights and whatever, others are just a field full of people doing their own thing. i'd check if they have a facebook group or discord for it, usually thats where they post the schedule if there is one
