idk maybe im just getting old but i miss when i used to just go out to the park with my phantom and fly around for no reason. no camera rolling, no instagram, just... flying. feels like everyone now is grinding for youtube or selling footage or whatever and i get it but also sometimes i just want to go up and mess around without feeling like i wasted a battery if i didnt get a shot

went out yesterday actually just to fly around a reservoir near my house and it was honestly the most fun ive had in months. didnt even check the footage until i got home

yeah 100% this. i stopped posting my stuff for like 3 months and honestly flew way more during that time. something about not thinking about the algorithm just makes it better. now im back to posting and already feeling the grind again lol

I still fly for fun mostly. Got a little 2.5 inch quad I just rip around the backyard sometimes, no gopro, nothing. My neighbors probably think im insane but whatever it's relaxing. The content thing never really grabbed me honestly, too much editing work for not enough payoff unless you're already big.
