this has been driving me nuts for like two weeks. im flying in normal mode, everything looks fine, then out of nowhere it switches to attitude mode and i nearly binked it into a fence last tuesday. not hitting any buttons, checked the controller mapping like three times already. happened again yesterday in a totally different location so its not interference from one specific spot.

running the latest firmware i think, updated a few weeks ago. the goggles show the mode switch warning when it happens but theres no obvious reason for it. battery is fine, signal is fine. i've seen some vague stuff about this on reddit but nobody really had a fix. wondering if anyone here has actually dug into this one

had something similar a while back and it turned out to be the mode switch on the right side of the remote getting triggered by my hand grip when i was making aggressive inputs. the DJI FPV remote is a bit weird about that switch placement and if you have larger hands its surprisingly easy to nudge it without realizing. worth just watching your grip next time it happens and see if theres any correlation with what your fingers are doing

also double check that the switch isnt slightly loose or intermittent, mine had a tiny bit of wobble that was causing ghost inputs. a bit of electrical contact cleaner sorted it

not the same issue but your post reminded me ? does anyone know if the DJI FPV remote 2 has the same switch placement problem or did they move it. asking because im thinking about upgrading controllers and that was always my one annoyance with the original remote
