so ive been building a small indoor track in my warehouse space for weekend practice sessions and i keep second guessing the gate spacing. right now im running about 6 meters between gates on the tighter sections and maybe 10-12 on the straights but it just feels off. like the rhythm isnt there when i fly it versus tracks ive raced on at actual events.
im running a 5 inch setup, full send freestyle tune so maybe thats part of it, but even when i flew my 3 inch toothpick through the same layout it felt cramped in the corners and then way too open on the straights. not sure if its the gate sizing itself (im using 1m square gates) or if i just have the angles all wrong. anyone built a decent indoor layout that actually flows well? the space is roughly 20x40 meters so not tiny but not huge either.
