ok so i updated to the latest firmware last night, the.0700 build that dropped earlier this week, and now my goggles 2 wont pair properly with the drone. they were working perfectly before the update. the RC2 controller pairs fine and i can fly no problem but every time i try to get the goggles to connect it just sits there searching and then times out.

ive tried the obvious stuff, restarted everything, re-paired from scratch following the usual method, even factory reset the goggles which i really didnt want to do because i had some settings i liked. DJI support page is useless as always. anyone else hit this after updating or is this something on my end

check if your goggles firmware is actually matching the drone firmware version, DJI has gotten worse about forcing you to update multiple components at once and sometimes the fly app doesnt make it obvious that the goggles need a seperate update pushed. go into the goggles settings directly and see if theres a pending update sitting there

this happened to me with an earlier firmware too, not.0700 specifically but same symptom. honestly DJI's update process is just broken half the time. what worked for me was updating the goggles through the fly app while they were physically tethered via USB rather than doing it over wifi or whatever, something about the wireless update process doesnt complete fully and leaves the firmware in a weird in-between state. worth trying before you go further down the factory reset rabbit hole. also dont update everything at once if you can avoid it, i do the drone first, wait a day or two to see if anyone reports issues, then do the goggles
