so ive had my mini 4 pro for about 3 months now and i mostly fly outside but tried it indoors for the first time last week just messing around in my living room. it wouldnt hold still at all, kept drifting toward the window slowly. i have it on normal mode not sport. outside it hovers basically perfect so im not sure if i did something wrong or if this is just how it is inside. calibrated the IMU last week too. not sure if thats even related

yeah totally normal for any drone indoors honestly. the Mini 4 Pro uses GPS and vision positioning to hold hover and indoors GPS obviously drops out, so its relying entirely on the downward vision sensors. near windows that can get confused because of light changes and reflections. if you had it over a plain carpet or something with not much texture those sensors struggle too. try flying it over a patterned rug or tiled floor and see if it holds better. also wind from AC vents will push it around more than you'd think even if you dont feel it yourself

mine does this too and i just kinda accepted it lol. i tried flying in my garage once and it was way worse than the living room, bounced all over the place. i think its the lighting in there. havent really figured it out but i just dont fly indoors much anymore
