my mavic keeps disconnecting mid flight and i dont know what im doing wrong

this has been driving me crazy for the past few weeks. im getting these random disconnects, sometimes it reconnects straight away, sometimes i have to just wait and hope for the best. its not every flight, maybe like one in three? and it doesnt seem to matter how far i am from the drone, happened once when it was literally like 80 meters away which makes no sense to me.

running the latest firmware, using the RC-N1 controller. signal strength looks fine right up until it drops. someone told me it might be interference but i fly in the same spot i always have so i dont get why its suddenly happening now. any ideas? starting to stress a bit about it tbh

check if anything changed nearby ? new wifi routers, a neighbour got something, construction with heavy equipment, that kind of thing. 2.4ghz interference is sneaky and can change without you doing anything different. also worth going into the DJI fly app and making sure it's set to auto channel switching, sometimes it gets stuck on a congested channel. and i know it sounds boring but try fully powering everything down and back up, not just the drone but the controller and your phone too, full cold restart. fixed a weird disconnect issue i had on my Air 2S that i'd been chasing for ages.

had somthing similar a while back, turned out my phone was the problem not the drone. it kept trying to switch between wifi and mobile data mid flight and messing with the connection. putting my phone in airplane mode then turning bluetooth back on manually fixed it for me. might not be your issue but worth trying before you go down a rabbit hole with the firmware stuff
