yeah this has been bugging me for a while. put together like a 3 minute clip of some coastal flying i did last month, spent probably way too long on the music sync and transitions, posted it to youtube and a facebook drone group and honestly the comments are mostly just people asking what drone i used and nothing about the actual footage. one guy said the horizon was slightly tilted in one shot which ok fair enough but still.

i dunno maybe my edits just arent as good as i thought or maybe nobody actually watches this stuff carefully. did anyone else go through this when they first started sharing? feels a bit deflating

facebook drone groups are basically useless for actual feedback, everyone there just wants to talk about gear or argue about regulations. try posting somewhere smaller where people actually care about the footage itself, you'll get better responses. the horizon thing is worth fixing though, its one of those things that once someone points it out you cant unsee it

totally been there man. my first few edits i was so proud of them and then basically crickets. i think the music sync stuff is harder to notice than we think when we're the ones who made it, like we're already emotionally attached to the edit. doesnt mean it's bad just means the audience isnt feeling the same thing. keep posting, the feedback gets more useful over time as you find the right comunity
