so ive been flying whoops for about a year and finally decided to commit to a proper 5inch freestyle build. been watching builds on youtube for months and i keep going back and forth on the frame. its basically down to the Nazgul Evoque or the Diatone Roma F5 for me.
my main thing is im going to be bashing this thing around abandoned buildings and parks, not racing, so durability matters a lot. i dont care about weight savings as much as i care about it surviving a stupid crash. i already have the motors picked out ? going with the T-Motor F40 2306s ? and im running a Speedybee F405 stack which i already bought during a sale.
what i cant figure out is whether the Roma's unibody-ish design actually holds up better than the Nazgul in real world use or if its just a looks thing. ive seen people snap Nazgul arms but ive also seen Roma owners crack the center plate which sounds way worse to fix. anyone have actual time on either of these? not looking for specs i can read those myself, just want to know if either one has actually given you grief.
