updated DJI fly to whatever the latest version is yesterday and now when i try to run a dronie it just... stops like 4 meters out and hovers. doesnt complete the shot. tried it like 6 times in an open field with no obstacles anywhere near it. this was working totally fine before the update

mini 2 btw. aircraft firmware is current, i updated both at the same time through the app so i assumed they were matched. cleared cache, restarted everything twice. still doing it

not sure if this is a known bug or if somethings messed up with my specific install. havent seen anyone else posting about it yet but maybe im just early

yeah there were a few people on the DJI forum reporting weirdness with quickshots after that update, think it was 1.12.0 or something close to that. someone mentioned that the subject distance setting got reset to a shorter value by default after updating and that would absolutely cause the behavior you're describing ? the drone thinks its close enough and just stops. worth checking in the intelligent flight settings if theres a max distance or subject distance option that looks off

also double check that return to home altitude didnt get reset because ive seen that happen on updates too and its not related but annoying to find out the hard way

this is why i wait like 2 weeks before updating anything. let other people find the bugs first lol. hope you get it sorted, the dronie is literally the only quickshot i ever use
