what case are people actually using for traveling with mini 3 pro

so ive been going back and forth on this for like two weeks now and cant decide. im planning a trip in about a month and need something i can take on a plane as carry on. right now i just have the little shoulder bag that came with the fly more combo and honestly its fine for the car but theres no way im trusting that going through an airport.

ive been looking at the lekufee hard cases and the nanuk 910 but the nanuk feels overkill for a mini 3? like its built for war. also saw some people using the dji branded hard case but reviews seem mixed on the foam cutouts not fitting the fly more accessories well.

mostly just want something that fits the drone, two or three batteries, nd filters, and maybe the rc controller without me having to tetris everything together every single time. anyone actually traveling regularly with theirs that can point me toward what works

been using a pelican 1510 for about two years for travel with various drones and honestly it never lets me down. yes its a bit heavy but it fits perfectly in the overhead bin and ive never had any issues at security. i did my own foam cutouts with pick and pluck foam from amazon, took maybe an hour and now everything sits exactly how i want it. for a mini 3 with the fly more stuff you'd have tons of room left over honestly, might be able to fit some other gear too.

the lekufee cases are decent for the price but the latches felt a little flimsy to me when i handled one at a meetup. not sure id trust it checked but for carry on probably fine. nanuk is also great but yeah maybe slight overkill depending on how rough you are with your gear

omg i had the exact same problem last summer. ended up going with one of the torvol cases specifically made for mini 3 and it was pretty good, the foam fit everything without me having to modify anything which was the main thing for me since i am not crafty at all lol. only thing is the rc-n1 controller fits but its kind of snug and i always feel nervous closing the lid. might depend on which controller you have
