this has been bugging me for like three weeks. running a Mobius gimbal on a 450 class hex and the jello only shows up on the left side of the frame. right side looks totally clean. ive rebalanced the camera twice, checked all the motor mounts, replaced one arm that looked slightly bent but the problem is still there.

its most noticeable when hovering and less obvious in forward flight which makes me think its a resonance thing rather than a physical imbalance but i honestly dont know. someone at my local club said it might be the gimbal motor on that axis going bad but it seems weird that it would affect only one side of the image and not the whole frame

that asymmetric jello pattern is usually a rolling shutter artifact interacting with a vibration frequency thats stronger on one side of the sensor sweep. the CMOS sensor reads top to bottom left to right and if theres a resonance that happens to line up with the timing of the readout on that side of the frame it shows up exactly like what youre describing. its not necessarily the gimbal at all ? could be a single prop thats slightly out of balance or even a loose standoff on that side of the frame causing localized resonance

had something similar on my old F550 clone. turned out to be one of the ESC wires was rubbing against the frame and creating just enough vibration path to affect that side. took me forever to find. I'd try running it without the gimbal cover if you have one and just watch what moves during a hover, sometimes you can see it
