my orthomosaic keeps coming out blurry in one corner and i cant figure out why

this has been bugging me for a while and i finally have time to post about it. doing a survey over a fairly flat agricultural field, nothing complicated, and every single time i process the images the northeast corner of the ortho comes out noticeably blurrier than the rest. like not terrible but if you zoom in to match the quality of the center of the map its clearly softer.

ive redone the flight twice thinking it was a wind issue or something with the camera during that pass but same result both times. GSD should be consistent across the whole thing since its basically flat. running the images through dronedeploy and getting the same corner issue which makes me think its not a processing artifact, maybe something happening during capture.

anyone run into this before? kind of at a loss here

what direction were you flying and what time of day? asking because if that corner is where youre getting the most sun angle or glare it can mess with shutter speed and you get motion blur on those frames specifically. also worth checking if your overlap is actually what you think it is in that corner - sometimes the flight plan squishes the turns and you end up with less sidelap at the edges than the software tells you.

id pull the exif data on the images from that corner and compare shutter speeds to the center images, thats usually where i start when i get uneven quality across a map

had somthing similar happen and it turned out my ND filter had a tiny smudge on one edge that i hadnt noticed. was only affecting images when the camera was at a certain angle. not saying thats your problem but worth a look before you fly it a third time lol
