so this has been bugging me for a while and i finally decided to just ask. my mavic 3 (not the cine version, just the standard one) has been getting signal warnings way earlier than it used to. like i used to be able to push it out maybe 3-4km no problem and now im getting weak signal warnings at like 1.5km sometimes even less.

nothing changed as far as i know. same RC pro controller, same flying spots mostly. it started maybe a month or so ago. interference maybe? i live near a city but i always have. did a full IMU calibration thinking maybe that was related but obviously that wouldnt affect signal i guess. firmware is up to date.

anyone dealt with this or have any idea what direction to even look

could be a few things honestly. first thing id check is whether the antennas on your RC pro are properly oriented ? i know that sounds stupid obvious but ive seen people forget to adjust them and it tanks range. they should be pointed perpendicular to the drone, not toward it.

also worth checking if there's been any new towers or wifi sources near your usual spots, 5.8ghz congestion especially can mess with OcuSync pretty badly. try switching the transmission channel to manual and see if a specific channel holds better. and if you haven it already, try flying from a totally different location just to rule out local interference.

had something simillar on my mavic 3 classic a while back and it turned out one of the antenna connections inside the aircraft had gotten slightly loose, not from a crash just from vibration over time i guess. had to send it in. wouldnt open it yourself obviously but might be worth contacting DJI support if the software stuff doesnt fix it
