okay so i just ordered the mini 4 pro fly more combo and it should arrive thursday. im completely new to drones, like i have never flown anything before not even one of those cheap toy ones. i work in real estate photography so i figured this was the right move but now im on youtube and everyone seems to have like a whole bag of stuff they say is essential and im not sure whats actually necessary vs just nice to have.

ive seen people talk about ND filters and landing pads and cases and signal boosters and all kinds of things. my budget isnt huge right now since i already spent a fair bit on the fly more combo. what would you guys prioritize first assuming im mainly doing property photos and some video?

ND filters are genuinely useful for video if you care about that cinematic motion blur look, but for real estate photography honestly you can skip them at first. the mini 4 pro shoots great stills without them. a landing pad is like 15 bucks and actually pretty handy, especially if youre shooting properties with gravel driveways or freshly cut grass ? keeps debris out of the motors. thats probably where id start.

the signal booster things are mostly garbage imo, the stock range on the RC2 is already more than you'll ever need for real estate work unless youre flying in a very congested RF area. i wouldnt bother. spare batteries from the fly more combo should cover you for most shoots, just make sure you charge them all the night before.

honestly just fly it first before buying anything extra. i made the mistake of buying a ton of accessories before i even knew how the thing handled and half of it is still sitting in a drawer. the fly more combo already comes with plenty to get started, just go to an open field and mess around with it for a few sessions before you start worrying about gear
