oh man i was just looking into this for a trip in february. the DGAC website is completely in spanish and half the links dont work so good luck figuring it out officially. i ended up emailing a local
so im heading to costa rica for three weeks and obviously bringing the mavic. ive been trying to figure out the rules there and its kind of a mess honestly. from what i can tell you need to register with the DGAC and get some kind of permit but every blog post i read is from like 2019 and i have no idea if any of that is still current.
national parks seem like a hard no which is annoying because thats literally why i want to go. anyone actually flown there recently and knows whats allowed? specifically around the arenal area and maybe the osa peninsula
