went last february with my air 2s. honestly customs didnt even blink at it, just had it in my carry on backpack. the DGAC registration thing is real but enforcement from what i saw was basically zero

cant help with costa rica specifically but just make sure whatever you read is from or later because the rules changed. i made the mistake of relying on a blog post from like 2019 when i went to colom
so im heading to costa rica for three weeks in january and obviously the drone is coming with me. ive done a bit of research on the rules there but honestly the info online is all over the place, some sites say you need to register with the DGAC, others say tourists are fine just flying casually as long as its under 25kg which like, every drone is under 25kg so that cant be right
mostly want to fly around the Osa Peninsula and maybe near Arenal if the clouds ever clear long enough. anyone actually been there recently and dealt with the permit stuff? dont want to get my mini 4 confiscated at customs or whatever
