so ive been flying for about a year now and always felt like my videos looked kinda flat and boring compared to what i see other people posting. went out to the coast saturday morning, got there before sunrise and honestly wasnt sure it was gonna be worth it cause there was some low cloud cover coming in.

ended up being the best shoot ive ever had. the mist over the water with the light breaking through was insane. flew maybe 4 or 5 batteries worth, got some really smooth hyperlapse stuff and a few low passes over the waves that i think came out great. edited it down to about 2 minutes and posted it to my youtube if anyone wants to take a look ? channel is in my profile. genuinely curious what people think because i feel like my color grading is still the weakest part of my whole workflow and i cant really tell anymore after staring at it for hours

just watched it, the low pass stuff is really good man. that one shot where you skim right over the breakwater is clean. color grading honestly doesnt look bad to me, maybe a tiny bit cool in the midtones but nothing that jumps out unless youre looking for it. what LUT pack are you using or is that all manual?

nice work. the hyperlapse is a bit jittery in the middle section, might be worth checking your interval settings or if there was wind shake throwing it off. otherwise solid stuff for a year in, took me way longer to get shots that looked that controlled near water
