I've been flying Part 107 for surveying work for three years, but I'm confused about these new Part 108 regulations everyone's talking about. Is this really going to let us fly beyond visual line of sight without case-by-case waivers?
I keep seeing mentions of "Operations Supervisors" and "Flight Coordinators" - does this mean I need new certifications? My current Part 107 certificate expires next year anyway.
Any insights from folks who've been following this more closely would be appreciated!
