saw it posted on the local club facebook page, looks like theyre doing a group fly thing on the 14th. never been to one of these before so not sure what to expect. do people just show up and fly or is there like a schedule? i have a mini 3 pro so nothing fancy but hoping i wont be the only one showing up with a smaller bird

ive been to a few of these and honestly its pretty chill, no real schedule most of the time. people just set up their stuff and fly whenever, chat between flights. youll probably see everything from tiny whoops to big 7 inch builds so your mini 3 is totally fine. the only thing i'd say is bring more batteries than you think you need because time flies lol. also check if they have a frequency/channel coordinator, some of the older guys still run analog and it can get messy if nobody's organizing that

oh man i went to one last summer and it was so worth it, met a couple guys who ended up helping me tune my freestyle quad. dont stress about the gear, seriously nobody cares what youre flying as long as youre not being unsafe about it
