so anyway was at a family thing over the weekend and brought up that ive been getting into fpv and literally nobody knew what i was talking about. had to explain it like four times and even then my uncle just said oh like those toy things from walmart. kinda funny but also a little lonely lol. feels like this is the only place people actually get it

yeah my wife's eyes glaze over the second i start talking about anything past just taking pictures. she likes the photos though so at least theres that. my one coworker flies too so we talk about it sometimes but hes more into mapping and survey work which is a pretty diffrent vibe from what i do

honestly no and ive stopped trying. people either think its a privacy thing or they just dont care. forums like this are pretty much it for me
