so ive been going back and forth on this for like two weeks and i cant make up my mind. im not a total beginner, had a mini 2 for about a year and a half, but im looking to move to something with a bit more low light capability since i do a lot of dawn and dusk flying around the coast near where i live.

the Nano+ is obviously more portable and i like that but the sensor on the Lite+ seems way more capable for what i want to do. prices are actually pretty close right now at my local shop which makes it harder. has anyone gone hands on with both or made this same choice? curious what actually pushed you one way or the other, not just spec sheet stuff

went with the Lite+ about six months ago and honestly havent looked back. the 1/1.28 inch sensor really does make a difference when the light drops, way more than i expected coming from a mavic air 2. the f1.9 aperture does a lot of heavy lifting in those golden hour and blue hour shots. portability is a real tradeoff though, it's noticeably bigger and the case situation isnt as clean as DJI's ecosystem. if you're mostly flying from a car or a bag with room to spare its fine but if youre hiking to spots the Nano+ would probably serve you better. for coastal dawn stuff though i think youd be happier with the Lite+, the noise handling at higher ISOs is genuinely solid

i had the same exact debate lol. ended up with the Nano+ because i travel a lot and the portability just won out for me personally. image quality is still really good dont get me wrong but yeah if low light is your main thing the Lite+ is probably the smarter call. one thing worth knowing is the Autel Sky app has gotten a lot better in updates over the past year, early on it was a bit rough but its pretty stable now on my android at least
