EVO II Pro keeps losing connection mid flight, anyone else had this

this has been bugging me for a while and im not sure if its my controller, the drone, or something environmental. basically im getting these random disconnects, sometimes just for a second sometimes longer, usually happens when im maybe 800 feet out or so. doesnt seem to matter if im in an open field or near buildings so im not sure its interference exactly. it reconnects on its own most of the time but its nerve wracking when you're over water or something.

running the latest firmware i think, updated a couple months ago. smart controller version. anyone had something similar or know what to look at first

had something similar on my EVO II a while back, turned out the antenna connections inside the smart controller were slightly loose from a drop it took. not saying thats definitely your issue but worth looking at if you ever had any bumps or rough handling on the controller. also double check you actually are on latest firmware because Autel's update notifications can be a bit inconsistent, sometimes i check manually in the app and there's something new that wasnt flagged

800 feet honestly shouldn't be an issue at all with that setup in normal conditions. is there anything running on the same 2.4 or 5.8 band nearby when it happens? i know you said it doesnt seem like interference but ive been surprised before by stuff like a neighbors wifi router or even certain video baby monitors throwing things off more than youd expect. also curious if the video feed drops at the same time or just the telemetry, might help narrow it down
