gimbal keeps drifting after firmware update ? anyone else?

so this has been driving me crazy for about two weeks now. i updated the firmware on my Zenmuse X7 (running it on an M300) and ever since the gimbal just slowly drifts to the left during longer shots. like its not a snap or a jerk, its this really slow creep that you dont even notice until you pull up the footage and something that should be a locked off shot is basically a slow pan.
ive done the gimbal calibration like three times, checked all the mounting screws, reseated the camera, nothing. its most noticeable when im doing slow orbits but honestly it shows up on straight line flights too if theyre long enough. roll axis looks fine, its definitely yaw or pitch, hard to tell which without doing a proper grid test.
anyone seen this after a firmware push or am i losing my mind
