EVO Nano keeps losing connection to the remote ? is this a known thing

this has been bugging me for a while and i finally decided to post about it. so basically mid flight the controller just drops connection for a few seconds then comes back. it's happened maybe 5 or 6 times now over the past month. not always in the same place either so i dont think it's interference from a specific location. drone hovers fine when it happens which is good i guess but obviously its nerve wracking.

im on the latest firmware i think, updated it a while back. flying in mostly open areas nothing crazy. anyone else had this or know if theres a fix? starting to wonder if its the remote itself or something on the drone side

check if your phone is trying to pull a wifi connection or do a background update while you're flying ? that can mess with the signal chain depending on how you have things set up through the Autel Sky app. happened to me early on and i thought the drone was faulty. put phone in airplane mode first and then re-enable just bluetooth if needed, made a big difference. also make sure the cable connecting your phone to the controller is seated properly, those connections can be flaky

yeah ive seen people mention this on the autel subreddit too. some folks said doing a full re-bind of the controller to the drone sorted it out ? not just a restart but actually going through the full binding process again in the app. kind of annoying that thats the fix if it is but worth trying before you send anything in. also might be worth double checking which firmware build you're actually on because there were a couple of updates close together and its easy to be one behind without realizing
