so this has been happening for maybe the last three weeks, it wasnt doing this before. i'll be flying, everything is fine, then somewhere around 150-200 meters out it just drops the feed and i have to bring it back manually or wait for it to RTH. it doesnt crash or anything but its making me nervous and i cant figure out what changed.

im in a fairly suburban area, nothing major around, no obvious interference i can see. i did update the firmware a while back and now i cant tell if that made it worse or if it was already starting before the update. the controller feels fine, batteries are good. i dunno. has anyone dealt with this or is there something i should check that im obviously missing

that range dropping at a pretty consistent distance is usually interference or antenna orientation more than the drone itself. when you're flying, what direction are you holding the controller ? are the antennas facing up toward the drone or kind of angled sideways? it sounds silly but that makes a surprisingly big difference with the Nano's controller. also worth trying in a different location just to rule out a local interference source, ive had spots near certain cell towers that just ate my signal.

if its firmware related theres usually a rollback option in the Autel app though i havent done it myself on the Nano specifically so you'd want to double check that before trying anything

Had something similar on mine a while back turned out to be my phone doing something weird with wifi in the background competing with the signal. Switched to airplane mode with just bluetooth on and it cleared up almost immediately. Might not be your issue but its worth trying before you dig into anything deeper. cheap fix if it works
