so ive been watching fpv content for like 6 months now and im finally ready to actually buy something but im kind of paralyzed by the options. my budget is somewhere around $400-500 all in including goggles and controller if thats even realistic, i honestly dont know.
the dji avata 2 keeps coming up but thats already like $600 just for the basic kit and then some people say oh just build your own its cheaper and better. but i have zero soldering experience and the idea of wiring up a stack makes me nervous. i dont want to spend 3 months learning electronics before i even fly.
someone on reddit told me to just get a mobula7 or something from betafpv and learn on that, but then another person said tinywhoops are boring and ill plateau fast. i just want to actually fly and have fun without immediately crashing $500 into a wall. is dji o3 actually that much better than walksnail or am i just paying for the name at this point
