ran both for a few months before settling on hdzero for racing and honestly the latency thing is real. o3 is gorgeous but if you're doing anything fast or in a tight course you will feel the differenc

dude i went through the exact same thing like 6 months ago. ended up going o3 and have zero regrets but i also dont race at all so latency wasnt a dealbreaker for me. the through-obstacle penetration
so ive been running fatshark dominator v3s for like 4 years now and honestly they still work fine but everyone in my local group is switching to digital and im getting serious fomo watching their feeds. the clarity difference is kinda nuts when you see it on someones goggles vs what im looking at.
main thing im trying to figure out is whether hdzero is actually the move or if i should just go dji o3 and be done with it. i fly mostly freestyle, some light racing, nothing super serious but i do care about latency a lot. heard hdzero has better latency than o3 but the range and penetration through trees is worse? or maybe its the opposite, i genuinely cant tell anymore from all the conflicting stuff ive read.
also whats the deal with the antenna situation on hdzero ? do you have to run the specific antennas they bundle or can you swap in whatever lhcp stuff you already have. i have a bunch of axii antennas sitting around from my analog setup and itd be nice to reuse them if possible.
