so i've been flying for about 8 months now and i think this is the first time ive actually been happy with what came off the card. went out to this reservoir near my place early sunday morning, like 6am, nobody around. light was insane. did a few slow orbit shots around this old broken dock and then just let it drift out over the water while the mist was still sitting on the surface.

color grading is still a weak point for me honestly, i just used the standard Dlog-M to rec709 lut that came with the mini 4 pro and barely touched anything else. maybe thats the right move, maybe not. anyway if anyone wants to give actual feedback on the composition or movement id really appreciate it, link is in my profile. be honest, im not precious about it

the mist shots are genuinely nice, that kind of light doesnt happen often and you caught it well. the orbit around the dock is maybe a bit fast for the mood though? like everything else feels slow and calm and then that section kind of jolts you. just my take

honestly dont overthink the lut stuff at this stage, getting the shot is 90% of it. ive seen people with perfect grades on boring footage and it doesnt matter. keep going out at stupid hours, thats clearly working for you
