this has been bugging me for a while. i'll be out flying and the screen looks amazing, like legitimately stunning, and then i get home pull the raw files and its just... fine. not bad but not what i thought i was capturing. happened again yesterday over some cliffs near here. the jpeg preview on the RC2 screen looked like a postcard and the DNG just feels flat and kind of dull even after editing

im probably doing something wrong in lightroom but i genuinely dont know what. sharpening? the profile? no idea. posting one of the shots here if i can figure out how to attach it

yeah the screen on those controllers is punchy as hell, its basically showing you a processed jpeg in real time which is always going to look more "wow" than a flat raw. you kind of have to learn to ignore it and trust what youre setting up in the frame itself. takes a while to click

i had the exact same problem when i started shooting raw, felt like i broke something lol. try the Adobe Standard camera profile in Lightroom as a starting point instead of Adobe Color, for some reason it works way better on drone files imo. also bump clarity like +15 and see if that brings back some of that feeling from the preview
