Avata 2 vs original Avata ? worth upgrading if i mostly fly indoors?

so ive had the original Avata for about a year and a half now, mostly use it for indoor fpv stuff, tight spaces, warehouse shoots occasionally, that kind of thing. buddy of mine just got the Avata 2 and wont stop talking about it but honestly i cant tell from specs alone whether the upgrade makes sense for how i actually fly.
the obstacle avoidance on the original is already kind of a joke indoors anyway, im usually flying in manual or at least with stabilization only, so idk how much the improved sensors on the v2 actually matter. battery life looks a bit better on paper but id have to see it in real conditions. does the image quality difference actually show up in tight indoor environments or is that more of an outdoor thing where you have more light to work with
not in a rush to buy anything just trying to figure out if anyone who had the first one made the jump and actually felt the difference day to day
