what do people actually use to carry their mini 4 pro around

  • Members

so i got my mini 4 pro a few weeks ago and right now im just kind of shoving everything into a random backpack which obviously isnt ideal. the foam that came in the box is already getting beat up. i mostly hike to my spots so i need something that can fit in or attach to a regular hiking pack, not one of those giant drone backpacks that weighs more than the drone itself.

ive seen people mention the dji shoulder bag and also some third party stuff but theres so many options and half the reviews feel fake. does anyone actually hike with theirs and have something they genuinely like, not just something that looks nice on a shelf

been using a lowe alpine smaller daypack with a hard shell case stuffed inside for over a year now. the case is just some random waterproof one i found on amazon, nothing fancy, fits the mini and two batteries and the RC-2 with room to spare. tbh i think the whole dedicated drone bag thing is overhyped unless you have a lot of gear. just get a decent hard case and throw it in whatever bag you already hike with.

im also pretty new to this so take it for what its worth but i picked up the torvol quad pitstop backpack which is kind of a hybrid hiking and drone bag and its been pretty good so far. its not the cheapest thing ever but it doesnt look weird walking around with it unlike some of the more tactical looking ones. only thing is it's maybe a bit bigger than what you're describing if you want something compact
