anyone else feel like their footage never looks as good as they thought it did while flying

this has been bugging me for a while. im up there and the view is incredible, like genuinely stunning, and i think okay this is gonna be amazing footage. then i get home and watch it back and its just... fine? like nothing special. not sure if its the lens, my settings, or just the fact that being there in person is so different from watching a little screen. maybe im just bad at finding interesting compositions idk. happened again yesterday over this reservoir near me, looked amazing flying over it and the footage is just kinda flat and boring. not sure what im doing wrong
