EVO Nano+ worth it or should i just get the mini 3?

so ive been going back and forth on this for like two weeks now and i cant decide. i want something small for hiking and travel, mostly landscape stuff, no real commercial work. the EVO Nano+ keeps catching my eye because of the obstacle avoidance and the colors out of the camera look really nice from the sample footage ive seen. but everyone i know personally has a DJI and they keep telling me to just get the mini 3.

has anyone actually flown both? or at least the Nano+ for a while? im mostly worried about the app reliability because ive heard mixed things and also how it handles wind since ill be up in the mountains sometimes. battery life seems decent on paper but paper specs dont mean much

I flew the Nano+ for about 8 months before switching to something bigger and honestly it was a solid little drone. The camera really does produce nice colors, the Autel sky app was a bit clunky when i first got it but they pushed some updates and it got better. Wind handling is where id say manage your expectations ? anything above like 18-20 mph and she starts to drift more than id like, especially when youre trying to hold a steady shot on a hillside. for calm days in the mountains its great though.

The Mini 3 is more polished overall just because DJI has had way more time to refine everything from the app to the signal link. But if you want to avoid the whole DJI ecosystem and you like that Autel image profile, the Nano+ isnt a bad call at all. just go in knowing the app will occasionally do something weird
