Avata 2 vs original Avata ? is the upgrade actually worth it

so ive been flying the original Avata for about a year and a half now and honestly love it, got pretty comfortable in manual mode and its been my go-to for tighter spaces and indoor stuff. but the Avata 2 came out and everyone in my group is telling me to upgrade and im kind of on the fence about it.
the main thing i keep hearing is the image quality is noticeably better and the obstacle avoidance is actually usable now unlike the original which was basically a gimmick. also apparently the prop guard design is less annoying? the original ones are always catching on stuff when i pack it.
but like is it actually a different flying experience or does it feel the same once youre in the air. i dont really care about the goggles 3 upgrade since i already have the goggles 2 and theyre fine. just want to know if someone whos actually flown both thinks its worth dropping the money on
