what accessories are actually worth getting for the mini 4k

  • Members

just got a mini 4k last week, first drone ever. i dont really know what i need vs what is just stuff companies try to sell you. the kit i got came with one battery and i already know i need more of those but beyond that im kind of lost.

ive been looking at nd filters and a shoulder bag and some kind of landing pad thing but honestly i dont know if any of that stuff matters when youre just starting out. the nd filters especially, the videos i watched make it sound like you absolutely need them but then other people say dont bother until you know what youre doing. any thoughts from people who actually use this thing

honestly for starting out the only thing i would actually say is necessary is extra batteries. everything else can wait. the landing pad is nice if you fly at the beach or somewhere dusty but otherwise you can just hand launch and land. ive been flying for two years and i still dont use one half the time.

nd filters are a whole thing and theyre not going to make much difference to you right now. learn to fly first, get comfortable with the settings, then think about filters when you actually start caring about the footage looking cinematic. the 4k footage straight out of the drone is pretty decent without them for casual stuff
