mini 4 pro firmware.0700 bricked my return to home settings??

okay so this is frustrating. updated to the latest firmware last night through the DJI fly app, the one that dropped maybe a week ago, and now my RTH altitude is just gone. like the setting is there in the menu but it keeps defaulting back to 30m no matter what i set it. i fly in an area with trees that are easily 20m so this is not great.

tried cache clear on the app, restarted everything, disconnected and reconnected the RC2. still does it. didnt see anyone else posting about this but maybe im missing something obvious. anyone else hit this or know if theres a way to roll back firmware because i cant find that option anywhere in the app and the DJI assistant doesnt seem to see the mini 4 pro on my machine for some reason either.

the DJI assistant not detecting it is probably a driver thing ? make sure you're on assistant 2 for consumer drones, not the enterprise version, people mix those up all the time. as for the RTH altitude resetting, i've seen that happen after updates before and it usually sorts itself out after a fresh power cycle of both the drone AND the remote at the same time, not separately. sounds dumb but it worked for me on a similar issue with the air 2s a while back.

rolling back firmware on DJI consumer stuff is basically not officially supported anymore which is annoying. there are ways to do it but it involves some sketchy third party tools and i wouldn't bother unless you really have no other option.

yeah i got that update and havent noticed the RTH thing but now my quickshots are acting weird so maybe something is just off with this release generally. DJI's been pushing updates pretty fast lately and the QA feels like it shows sometimes. might be worth posting in the DJI forums too because occasionally someone from their team actually responds, or at least they used to
