this has been driving me insane for about three weeks. running a T40, firmware is current, tank is full, filters are clean (checked twice). about halfway through a field pass the pump just drops flow and the system throws a flow anomaly warning then usually recovers after like 8-10 seconds but sometimes it just aborts the mission entirely.

at first i thought it was the filter screens even though they looked fine so i replaced them anyway. didnt fix it. then thought maybe air in the line but ive bled the system. happens more on the second or third battery of a session which made me think heat related but the pump temps look normal in DJI Agras app. nozzles are the standard flat fan type that came with it, running at normal pressure for the application rate im targeting.

honestly at a loss here. anybody seen this before or have any idea what to check next because im burning through application windows and its getting real old real fast

had something similar on a T30 not the T40 but close enough probably. turned out to be a partially blocked inlet on the tank itself not the filter screens, there's a mesh inside the tank fitting that you dont really see unless you pull the whole outlet assembly off. it was passing visual inspection fine but under load it was restricting enough to cause exactly what you're describing, intermittent drops that got worse as the session went on.

also worth checking if your power connection to the pump is fully seated, had a loose connector once that acted up after thermal cycling. the heat-related timing you mentioned made me think of that.

what application rate are you running and at what speed. if youre pushing the pump near its limits on a fast pass it can cavitate a bit especially when the tank gets to that half empty zone where the pickup is pulling more air. might not be a fault at all, just the system operating at the edge of its envelope and logging it as anomaly. try slowing down 10% on the next flight and see if the timing of the dropouts changes relative to tank level
