finally picked up an EVO Nano+ and have some questions about the app situation

so i pulled the trigger on the Nano+ last week after going back and forth between it and a Mini 3 for like two months. ended up going with the Autel mostly because of the obstacle avoidance and honestly the orange color looks sick in the field so i can actually find it when it lands in the grass.

anyway my main issue right now is the Autel Sky app. it feels kinda clunky compared to what ive seen of DJI Fly but maybe im just not used to it yet? like finding the camera settings buried in the menus took me forever the first time. also is there a way to get a live histogram on screen during flight or is that not a thing on the Nano+

also curious if anyone has found good ND filters for it that dont break the bank. the Freewell ones i saw seem decent but wanted to check here before i spend another 40 bucks on something that doesnt fit right

congrats on the Nano+ man, its a solid little bird. the app does have a learning curve for sure, took me probably a week of flying before i stopped accidentally changing settings i didnt mean to. the histogram i believe is in there, check under the camera settings icon during live view ? its a small toggle, easy to miss. might be labeled as waveform or something slightly off, i cant remember exactly.

for NDs i went with the Freewell ones and honestly no complaints after about 6 months. they snap on securely and the 4-pack covers most situations. just double check youre getting the Nano+ specific set and not the regular Nano ones, the lens diameter is different and a few sellers are sloppy about listing them separately.

the app thing is real, autel has been slowly improving it but its still behind dji fly in terms of polish. that said once you learn where everything is it stops being annoying. i actually prefer having more manual control buried in menus over stuff getting auto-adjusted on me without asking lol
