Getting some really annoying fast yaw jitters on my camera gimbal during flight. The pitch and roll axes look completely steady, but there's little to no stabilization on the yaw axis - it's like rapid micro-corrections that shouldn't be happening. Did a gimbal calibration on level concrete before the flight and it passed on the second attempt. Flight was with obstacle avoidance off since I usually get refusal to fly issues otherwise. Anyone encountered this specific issue where only one axis acts up?

Updated firmware can definitely cause gimbal stability issues if there's a mismatch between app and drone firmware versions. I'd check if you have any pending firmware updates and also try the camera reset procedure - it's helped me with similar single-axis problems before.

Constant micro-movements on gimbals are actually standard behavior on 3-axis systems - they're always making tiny position corrections. However, if it's visible in your footage as jitters, that's not normal and points to either IMU drift or a failing yaw motor.

I had exactly this problem on my Autel EVO last year. Try resetting the camera through the app settings after any firmware update - there are specific image quality and horizon control fixes that only apply after a camera reset. Make sure the drone is on a level surface with gimbal guard removed when you do it.
