what cases are people actually using for traveling with their mini 3 pro

so i've been putting off buying a proper case for like 6 months now and just been shoving everything into a padded camera bag which honestly works fine for driving around but i have a trip coming up in a few weeks where its going into checked luggage and i dont trust that at all

been looking at the lykus titan cases and the nanuk 925 but they seem pretty bulky for what they are. also saw some people talking about the fimi cases? not sure if those are any good or just cheap knockoffs honestly. my kit is just the drone, the fly more combo stuff, and maybe 2-3 nd filters i want to bring along

does anyone actually travel with these things checked or do you always carry on? i feel like carry on is the move but the bag situation still matters either way

honestly just got one of those generic waterproof hard cases off amazon for like 35 bucks and it's been fine for me. has the pre-cut foam squares you can pull out yourself. not as fancy as a nanuk but

i use a pelican 1510 for carryon and it fits the mini 3 with the fly more combo perfectly with room for some filters and a small tripod. cut the foam myself which took like an hour but was totally worth it. i've been on maybe 15 flights with it now and TSA has never given me grief. the lock situation is a little annoying but you get used to it

checked luggage though... i personally would never check a drone if i could avoid it. i've heard too many stories. if you absolutely have to, go with the hardest shell case you can find and just pray. but yeah nanuk and pelican are both solid, i wouldnt mess with cheaper brands for that use case
