Avata keeps drifting left in manual mode, not sure if its a calibration thing or something else

so this has been bugging me for a while and i finally decided to ask because i cant figure it out on my own. my Avata drifts noticeably to the left when im in manual mode and just hovering or doing slow forward moves. in normal and sport mode it seems fine because obviously the GPS and stabilization are doing their thing, but manual mode it just wants to go left.
ive done the IMU calibration twice and the compass once. motors all look clean, no visible damage on the props. goggles 2 firmware is current, drone firmware is current. i fly mostly outdoors in open areas. its not a massive drift but its enough that i have to constantly correct and it messes with my muscle memory when im trying to learn smoother lines.
anyone dealt with this before? wondering if its a motor thing or if theres a trim adjustment somewhere im missing
