Mini 3 Pro vs Air 3 ? is it actually worth the price jump

So ive been going back and forth on this for like two weeks now and i cant make up my mind. I currently have the Mini 3 Pro and honestly love it, no real complaints except i keep wishing i had omnidirectional obstacle avoidance when im flying through tighter spots in the woods near my house. The Air 3 has that and the dual cameras obviously but we're talking like $400+ more depending on where you look and whether you go with the RC2 combo.

My main use is just weekend stuff, some travel, occasional short clips for my own instagram thing which isnt even monetized so its not like im making money off this. But i do notice the image quality difference in side by side comparisons i keep watching on youtube. The medium tele lens on the Air 3 seems genuinely useful not just a gimmick.

Anyone made this jump specifically from the Mini 3 Pro? Did you feel like it was worth it or did the excitement wear off after a month when you realized you were basically shooting the same kinds of shots anyway

i went the other direction lol sold my Air 2S to get the Mini 3 Pro because of the weight exemptions here in Europe and havent looked back. Different priorities i guess. The no registration under 250g

made exactly this jump about 6 months ago and honestly... it depends what you shoot. For me the tele cam changed things way more than i expected, being able to get that compressed background look without being super far away from your subject is genuinely different and not something you can replicate in post. The obstacle avoidance upgrade is real too, i fly in areas with a lot of power lines and trees and the Mini 3 Pro had me nervous in ways the Air 3 doesnt as much.

That said if youre not doing paid work the rational answer is probably just keep the Mini 3 Pro. Its a fantastic drone and the footage looks great. I only justify it because i do some real estate stuff on the side. But if youre asking if the Air 3 is better, yeah it is, its just whether better matters enough for your situation.
