got a mini 3 (not pro) back in december and ive just been flying with the stock setup. starting to think about getting some extra stuff for it but theres so much garbage out there on amazon its hard to know what actually makes sense to buy. ive seen ND filters, prop guards, landing pads, cases, all of it. im not doing professional video or anything just flying around parks and hiking trails on weekends. anyone have stuff they actually use regularly and would recommend? or things they bought and regretted

honestly the one thing i tell everyone to get first is just extra batteries. like before any filters or accessories just get more flight time. the stock single battery situation is kind of brutal once you get somewhere nice and its just over after 20 minutes. i have 3 batteries now and it makes such a huge difference for a day out. after that i got a smallish shoulder bag that fits everything and thats about it. the nd filters are nice but i wouldnt stress about them right away especially if youre just learning what shots you like

prop guards are kind of a waste imo unless youre flying in really tight spaces, they mess with the flight characteristics a bit and reduce efficiency. landing pad is nice if you're launching from dirt or grass a lot, keeps junk from getting kicked up into the motors. i went through a phase of buying a bunch of stuff and most of it sits in a drawer. the charging hub for batteries is genuinely useful though if you do end up getting more than one battery
