anyone else feel like their photos never match what it looked like in the air

this has been bugging me for a while. i take what feels like an amazing shot when im flying, the composition looks perfect on the controller screen, and then i get home and look at it on my laptop and its just... fine. like nothing special. im using the air 2s so its not a hardware problem i dont think. maybe its just that the small screen makes everything look more dramatic than it actually is? or maybe im just bad at editing idk

would love to see what other people are doing with their stills cause i feel like im missing something

100% this. the controller screen is just not accurate at all for judging a shot, the brightness and contrast on those things make everything pop way more than it really is. i started shooting raw instead of jpeg and spending more time in lightroom and it made a huge difference. also sometimes the shot just isnt as good as you thought and thats fine, happens to everyone

honestly the air 2s sensor is really good so its probably editing. i was in the same boat for ages and then i watched a few tutorials specifically for aerial photography editing and it clicked. the thing about drone shots is they usually need more local adjustments cause the sky and ground expose so differently, like the ground is always gonna be darker. graduated filters in lightroom are your friend
