so ive had my mini 3 pro for about 3 months now and i keep noticing that when i just let go of the sticks and let it hover it kind of slowly drifts to one side. not a lot but enough to be annoying especially when im trying to get a steady shot. ive calibrated the IMU twice already and i always calibrate the compass before flying. wind was pretty calm when i noticed this most recently, maybe 5-8 mph at most. it doesnt crash or anything it just slowly creeps. is this a sensor thing or do i need to send it in? i bought it from best buy if that matters for warranty stuff

pretty common actually, the mini 3 pro doesnt have obstacle avoidance on the sides and bottom sensors can sometimes get confused depending on surface youre hovering over. if youre over grass or water or anything with a lot of texture variation the downward vision system can struggle and cause that drift. try hovering over pavement or a flat solid surface and see if it still does it. also check if youre in normal mode vs sport mode because sport disables some of the stabilization stuff. if it drifts the same amount indoors over a flat floor then yeah maybe worth contacting DJI support but honestly what youre describing sounds within normal range to me

mine did the same thing when i first got it and i panicked lol. turned out i just hadnt let it sit long enough after powering on before taking off. the IMU needs like 30 seconds or so to settle especially if its cold out. i live in the midwest so in winter mine would drift way more until it warmed up a bit. probably not your only issue but worth trying, just power on and wait a minute before you fly
