so this has been bugging me for a while and i finally got fed up enough to post about it. flying my FPV drone, everything is fine and then the goggles just drop the feed for like half a second and come back. not a full disconnect just like a brief flicker or stutter. happens most when im maybe 150-200 meters out and theres any kind of structure between me and the aircraft.

ive already tried switching channels on the O3 link and it helps a bit but doesnt fully fix it. antenna orientation on the goggles seems fine. im in a suburban area so theres obviously some interference but this seems worse than it should be. running latest firmware on everything.

classic multipath interference issue in suburban environments. structures bouncing the 5.8ghz signal around causes those micro dropouts even with O3. a few things worth trying - first make sure your goggle antennas are actually perpendicular to each other, a lot of people set them parallel which tanks diversity performance. second if you havent already try manually locking to a specific channel rather than letting it auto select, auto can sometimes cause brief hiccups when it decides to hop. also check if your fpv drone body itself is blocking the antenna on the aircraft during certain flight attitudes, that one gets people more than they expect.

had the exact same issue and drove myself crazy for weeks. turned out my phone was in my pocket running 5ghz wifi hotspot the whole time and it was stomping all over the signal. felt like an idiot when i figured it out. probably not your issue but worth ruling out the dumb stuff first lol
